A couple of corrections. The 788 is in the REM 700 stock. The Dragon stock has a left handed Winchester model 70 in 22-250. The Dragon is inspired by the nose art from a WW II B-24 that flew missions in the Pacific. The tail ran around the fuselage all the way to the tail. On this one the tail wraps around the forend to the tip. The plane was named “The Dragon and his Tail”

Paul, what did you do to trigger on the 788? Enjoyed the articles in gunsmith.

I haven't done anything to the trigger on the 788. When I bought the gun a previous owner had rebarreled it in 7X57. Never having owned a 788 before I really don't know if it gas the factory trigger or an aftermarket trigger. There are no markings on the trigger that would lead me to think it is an after market piece but I simply don't know. I took it to the range on Wednesday and was pleased with the result .
